Wrong Customer Emailed

I have an ongoing issue where a specific person (not a customer) keeps getting receipts intended for another specific person (who is the actual customer). Their email addresses are one character off, so it appears the actual customer input their contact info incorrectly upon signup, however the incorrect email is no longer in our production database and the (now very annoyed) non-customer keeps getting receipts.


I have searched by patron email, done ad-hoc queries, the incorrect email should not be anywhere in our system but they keep getting the receipt. The non-customer has become angry and I can't do anything more for them.

  • Try searching in the transactions....the email must embedded there. Especially, the original sale.
  • It's not! I pulled the order number right off the email and loaded it, the constituent on record for the sale does not have that email address attached to it anymore. It's very bizarre.
