Fundraise Up Integration

Is anyone's organization using Fundraise Up for their donation form and payment processing? If so, are you using their NXT integration or Omatic, and how is it all working out? Thank you!

  • Hi Tyyne, I would also like to hear other responses to your question. We use Fundraise Up for our online donations. Overall, I like Fundraise Up for the donor experience to online donation. We do use the integration from Fundraise Up to NXT but I have several issues with using the integration. You can not delete any gifts that are integrated. Duplicate records occur all the time if the system doesn't match email or address. The back end integration is time consuming fixing records. Also the integration to NXT is part of the cost, so even if I turn that off, we are still paying for it.

  • Thanks Barbara, this is super helpful! How does the integration work, do the gifts just appear on constituent records they are automatically matched to? And once they are matched, you can't change or delete them? So you probably end up doing a lot of duplicate monitoring and merging then?

  • Not sure of interest but they have a JavaScript API which can be used to send the data to RE via other mechanisms (Power Automate/SmartSYNC etc..). If integration is of issue. Sounds like their integration sort of works though and not sure you can do much better if they are already doing matches on things like initial, last, email or first, last, postcode etc… Anyway, just thought you may want to know options.
