Recurring gift API can't be amended in Database View

Our website automatically adds Direct Debits to Webview via an API, however they don't function in Database view. We can't cancel / amend the Direct Debit in any way. We are currently cancelling all Direct Debits and reimporting them to enable us to manage the DD in Database View. We've been told the API can only the add the recurring gift to Webview and not Database View.

    Hey Simon, I found your post after our call. This looks like what we talked about and deals with the fact that the recurring gifts are being sent in as NXT gifts and not a DB view gift. With them coming is as NXT gifts, the system will try to process them automatically. If we want to process the RGs outside the system and just bring in the details for reporting purposes, we need to use the “is_manual” flag on the endpoint which will bring the gift in as a DB view gift and skip the automatic processing step.

    I know we talked about this on our call but I still wanted to get this out here in the event that someone else has a similar issue.
