'Enhancements' to bank adjustments

A couple of problems with the enhanced bank adjustment screens:

The adjustment category field- can no longer scroll through the choices - was a much easier way to get to what you needed than the new list with only a couple of choices on each page

Bank account transfers as adjustments: now you have to choose the ‘transfer to’ account even though it has already been set up & the gl account is showing in the distribution.

I opened a case yesterday about the transfer to bank account not being listed although it is listed in the database view. The support person's reaction was kind of like well if the choice is available what is the problem. I told them it was a lot of unnecessary clicks and was previously available. I'll be anxious to see what their response is.

Hey Sharelle,

I'd point out that in Database view it functions as it always has, and here it's not and that should be considered a bug. If nothing else they will have to investigate it to come back and tell us if it truly is not working as intended and would have to be fixed in the future, or if they intended this change. Might be good to know.

I agree with you whole heartedly. Just my experience in the past that if it works in database and the functionality still works in NXT, then it isn't an issue to them. I've heard so many times just do it in the database view because it works there.

Update on the Case I opened. The support person told me that if my GL accounts were loading properly that I didn't have to put in the bank account name that I am transferring it from. I tried it this morning since I did a transfer yesterday, and they are correct. I left the bank account transfer from field blank (even though it has a red asterisk beside it) and it saved the transaction.
