Reporting options for CBE - teachers and admin

Hi, I'm interested how others are accessing/using CBE data. Two different threads here:

  1. How do teachers access and share/use their skills data? I feel like the reporting options are pretty limited. While the student learning progression page is terrific, it's a lot of clicking to walk through a roster opening each profile individually, clicking the Learning Progression tab, and selecting one's own class to see a student's data. The Mastery Overview tab is great but not clickable, so you can't drill down. Would be great to see a snapshot similar to the “See student's gradebook” screen, but for CBE/skills info. Or combine these?
  2. How do academic group managers audit data health in CBE? I would love to have access to a report of what skills are in use, what could be inactivated, who is using this module in their gradebook, etc.

Curious how others are making this work. Thanks for any insight!

    I agree it would be great to have the same reporting toolset that other grading methods have. As far as reporting, we pull down the mastery data export file, massage it in python, export to a pdf template, and bulk upload those to the student's file tile.

    As far as monitoring data health, we are playing catch-up. We are still finishing automating cross-checking data between our standards recorded (graduation is based on accumulated standards) against the calculated grades we show on transcripts (our college advising team has found without supplied grades colleges will invent their own so we have another script to calculate base grades). Stuff like looking at standard usage, standard opportunity count and such is still something we do manually in Excel.
