Need help creating the correct query and export for pledge forms

I am having trouble fine tuning my query and export for our renewal donor pledge forms. I need the following information for the merge document:

  • Constituent ID
  • Branch Affiliation
  • Name
  • Preferred First Name
  • Organization Contact Name (if applicable)
  • Contact Phone Number (if applicable)
  • Address
  • Email
  • Phone Number
  • Last Gift Solicitor Name
  • Last Gift Amount
  • Last Gift Appeal
  • Recognition Name

One of my issues is that when I run my report, the “last gift” for many donors shows as the “cash remainder” that is put in as a one-time gift when they pay a pledge online and covered the processing fee. Another issue is that they may have given multiple gifts to various locations throughout the campaign year. How do I consolidate all of these gifts so the amount on their pledge form is just the subtotal of all their gifts for that time period?

    Hi Brianna,

    I'm not sure if I 100% understand your question, but have you tried making a smart field for the types of revenue you want for the time period you want? Are you running your query through a mailing? If so that is where you would need to put your export fields.
