We're havingLogin issues for some parents

Some of our parents are logging in and getting the spinning green dot. Support wants them to run a .Har file which is an unreasonable request I think. Has any other organization run into this issue? Is Blackbaud doing anything about this?

  • @Kevin Campbell - is it specific browser? Clearing history will sometimes help - I usually have them do an incognito window or inPrivate window to see if they are having the same issue. I know we are seeing some issues with Safari in recent weeks - haven't pinned this one down yet

    That might be the issue, but I think they answer may be several issues going on at once. One of the other issues I see is that BB recenlty engaged the “disable account due to inactivity” feature disabling almost every past parent and/or alumni that hasn't used the system in a while. When they go to fill out our Admissions application they are met with this road block. After using the “forgot my password” link, they are then redirected to the Blackbaud welcome page which has nothing to do with our school. The reason for this is because they do not have a BBID yet.
