Official Notes notification coming in to Faculty with a different display name

We use our official notes to issue APRs, detention halls, etc. We use the notification for these notes to send an email notification to parents and teachers of these students. Recently we have encountered an increasing number of reports that when the email notification is coming into a mail client (we are a Google school but faculty may use the mail client on a Mac or another third-party client on PCs), the display name showing is different from the email address that it is showing as the sender ([schoolname]@myschoolapp.com) coming from and different than the email reply to address. We initially thought this might be tied to just the Mac Mail client but it seems to now happening to those with a PC as well. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
