Hello,

I have a report set up in Power BI using the Blackbaud connection to pull gift records. Is there a way to auto-refresh the data in the report? It doesn't look like Blackbaud is listed as a “Direct Query Source” to do so.

    the blackbaud custom connector for power bi is not officially from blackbaud nor supported by blackbaud. it is “supported" by the community of people involved. @Matt Thacker is one that helps others a lot on this.

    In order to do auto-refresh, you will need to have a delicated computer that has the custom connector installed, and gateway is setup. I heard Matt has a post on how to do this.

    There are other ways you can do this via SKY API and power automate, where you are getting the data saved to a cloud location (from something simple such as SharePoint, OneDrive as csv to something more complex like Azure SQL data warehousing and MS Fabric), this route will not require a delicated computer and gateway. Your power bi will gather data from the cloud location and will be more flexible to create more/different power bi dashboard.

    @Jilynne Tapia This can be easily accomplished using the Charity Automator Data Warehouse. Your warehouse would have up to date RE NXT (could also include other system data - ie FE NXT) and is easily connected to Power BI.
