Recognition Removed but still populating in receipting process

We have a scenario where the household (husband and wife) are linked together as spouses. They requested to have recognition credit removed so that each can donate independently. We are having to manually remove the spouse within the receipting/acknowledgment process. We have unlinked them under relationship on the record, but within receipts it's still populating adding in the spouse.

Is there another section where I would need to remove said link so that it's not populating in the receipting process?

Hi @Gabriela Johnson! A couple ideas I had:

• Did you update the relationship on both spouse constituent records and uncheck all of the options there to apply recognition credits?

• You could also look at the household record, and check the settings under “define household recognition options”

• My last idea would be to check your name formats. Are your receipts/acknowledgements pulling in a joint name format? You might need to make all of the “joint” name formats for this couple actually read as individual name formats so that they are never addressed jointly in receipts and acknowledgements.
