Reporting question

Hi all, I'm sure this is a silly question, but I am new to RE and am trying to get the hang of reporting as quickly as I can.

I was wondering what folks suggest I do to pull a giving report that shows what we received (both pledge and received) in a month/week/quarter - we receive multi-year pledges and I want to make sure only the amount meant for the current FY will be reflected in the report. Additionally, I was wondering how folks would approach showing a progress to goal report - I was thinking of using the Gift Summary, but I was wondering if there are other canned reports folks use.

    Welcome to the Community @Kyla Cortez. Gift Summary and Detail Report is going to be your friend. I would make sure you adjust the settings to make sure you are pulling the information that you want to see.

    @Kyla Cortez, in web view, you can also build a dashboard for the particular campaign or fund you want to view. There are a lot of insight that you can easily customize by date to show gifts committed and gifts received, fund or campaign performance, etc.

    @Kyla Cortez you can set goals on Campaigns and/or Appeals in database view and then report on the progress to goals in the dashboards in web view Campaign or Appeal reports. You can set the filters, save your view, and schedule those to be emailed on a regular basis.
