Sub-Skill rollup?

We are moving to a more formalized standards based assessment system. Working from a set of standards identified for course, teachers would develop rubrics to assess students at the end of each unit against those standards. I am looking at whether CBE will work for our model. If we are using sub-skills as a Unit level version of the standard, is there a way to “roll-up” the rating on the sub-skills and show the student/parent/advisor overall performance against the parent skill (our course standard)? Based on my limited testing, it appears that if sub-skills are set up, the Learning Progression and other views within Blackbaud only show the sub-skills. The Mastery Report includes the skills, but I don't see an easy way for users to view that information.
