Insurance Planned Gifts

Whether or not you get that Add as Revenue button on a Planned Gift record in order to create a Commitment Transaction to apply a Payment on a Planned Gift seems driven by the Planned Gift Vehicle: if its a Bequest you get it and it generates a Transaction called Planned Gift under the Constituent's Revenue against which to apply a Payment. But with other Vehicles such as Lifer Insurance or Charitable Gift Annuity you don't get that option to Add as Revenue.

So how are such PGs tracked in BBCRM. Are they just regular donations? Seems like they won't get tracked as PGs then? Or are we missing something – a step somewhere or a Configuration somewhere?
