All Raiser’s Edge NXT accounts globally have been enabled with the Constant Contact integration and have access to the ongoing free trial! Constant Contact for Raiser’s Edge NXT brings together the best of two worlds: the fundraising power of Raiser’s Edge NXT and the digital marketing brilliance of Constant Contact.  

The first of its kind partnership between Constant Contact and Raiser’s Edge NXT is designed to help social impact organizations like yours connect with supporters in bold, insightful, and efficient ways. Constant Contact is a trusted leader in digital marketing for small businesses and nonprofits. Their platform offers the perfect blend of maturity, flexibility, and innovation. The Constant Contact integration, accessed directly within Raiser’s Edge NXT, provides a unified experience that lets you: 

  • Engage supporters through multi-channel marketing—email, social, and SMS*—without switching platforms
  • Sync constituent data automatically for real-time targeting and cleaner lists 
  • Track performance and engagement all in one place

What’s Next for the Constant Contact Integration? 

We will continue to enhance the integration between Constant Contact and Raiser’s Edge NXT to bring more value to communicators using both systems. Over the next two months, look for these enhancements:  

  • Multi-account consent allows organizations to connect multiple Constant Contact accounts to one Raiser’s Edge NXT environment and still track subscription preferences across all consent categories. Consent categories can be used to track individual subscription lists or chapters.   
  • Constant Contact engagement in Raiser’s Edge NXT. A new tile will allow you to view Constant Contact engagement on Raiser’s Edge NXT constituent records.  
  • Enriched data flow from Raiser’s Edge NXT. Bring Online Giving conversion data into Constant Contact. This allows you to set up automated campaigns/targeted campaigns based on this data. 
  • Single Sign On allows you to access your Constant Contact account automatically in Raiser’s Edge NXT when logged in with your Blackbaud ID for added convenience; no separate login required.  

Note some of these capabilities will be available with the free trial; others require a paid subscription to Constant Contact.  

Multi-Account Consent  

Organizations connecting multiple Constant Contact accounts to a single Raiser’s Edge NXT environment can now efficiently manage unsubscribes at the chapter, department, or program level. Each Constant Contact account maps to a specific Blackbaud Consent Category, ensuring opt-outs affect only the relevant communication stream rather than all organizational messages. Consent updates can be viewed in Consent history on the supporter record within Raiser’s Edge NXT. The update safeguards supporter relationships, aligns with Blackbaud’s consent model, and helps multi-chapter organizations maintain engagement across all areas of their mission.

Constituent Engagement Tile

A new Engagement Tile will display metrics reflecting Constant Contact activity directly within individual constituent records in Raiser’s Edge NXT. With the Engagement tile, fundraisers no longer need to toggle between Constant Contact and Raiser’s Edge NXT to view email performance or donor engagement metrics like sent, opened, clicked, and bounced. This extra visibility supports a full picture of supporter engagement within Raiser’s Edge NXT. It’s planned for release mid-November 2025.
