Constituent Business Title in RE Record

I was wondering if any of you put a constituents business title in their record. If you do where do you put it. I know that I could make an attribute but I don't like to clog up the attributes with that kind of thing. I have to make name tags a lot and it would be a lot easier if I had their title in their record somewhere and just exported it out when I export out the people attending the event. I would love to know where you put this information. Thanks for your help!!!

    Hi Jennifer Menon‍ - I may be mis-interpreting your question, if that is the case let me know.  We create a organizational relationship record on the constituent's record and store their job title in the position field.  If they have a title or suffix from a degree/related to their profession we store it on the Bio 1 tab in the available fields.

    Thank you for the reply. I tried that but something didn't work right. Then I remembered in my normal exports whatever is under the business button always prints for me. This is for people who work here so we haven't tracked that in our system. I added our information and their title and it worked perfectly. Hooray so simple, that never happens. :-)

    Do you mean the name of their org or their position title? We record it on their org relationship.    Either way it's relationship organization.  I don't have RE open right now but on the right side maybe 2nd field there's a field I believe is titled 'position' or something similar.

    Relationship - Organization - the Position field is for Title.  And make sure that the Primary Business Info box is checked on the relationship.


    Even do this with employees of your organization, at least that has always been SOP for me.  All employees have a Org relationship to our Org's record and their title and time they started employment and stopped is recorded.
