Hello.  I was wondering what connector tool users were utilizing to import/export from Raiser’s Edge to Mailchimp.  I’ve been looking at Omatic’s ImportOmatic Connector for Mailchimp and Chimpegration.  I was hoping for feedback on either from anyone who has used them.  Which one is easier to use?  Which one handles bounce backs, unsubscribes, etc. better?  And, if you use ImportOmatic, what other Omatic products do you use. Thank you so much!

    Hi Irene Hui‍  - There are few other threads that talk about MailChimp integration throughout the community; I have linked them below.  There is also a LinkedIn group for Chimpegration users listed in one of the linked threads (https://www.linkedin.com/groups/7469923/).  My organization is looking into MailChimp but has not moved forward with anything.  Maybe in the future I'll be able to comment from experience.

    I can't give you an unbiased review (given that I work for Zeidman Development), but would be happy to help if you have any specific questions about Chimpegration.  Best wishes as you determine what tool will serve your needs.

    I'd throw in our Springbaud for Mailchimp plug-in. (I think Community rules permit a direct plug in these circumstances, but I'm sure I'll be advised otherwise if not!)


    (Springbaud also supports Campaign Monitor out-of-the-box, btw.)

    One more for the list SmartMAILCHIMP (which is powered by our SmartSYNC tool which supports all sorts of syncs for RENXT users). As with Steven, hope this is inline with forum rules given the other mentions of other solutions. Surely it helps everyone to know what is out there that could help.

    I have a demo tomorrow from the developers of Chimpegration to see the specific integration into RE/NXT. I am happy to share whatever information comes from our demo.


    We also had a demo with Omatic for integrating data between RE and our ticketing software - this is still a work in process but seems to be useful for integrating third party applications into RE but not sure how they differ from Chimpegration.
