Tab key not working properly after new RE update

Is anyone else having issues with their tab key double-entering after moving to the new RE update (the one where it makes everything all light and hard to see)?  I remember someone mentioning something about this recently, but of course now I can't find the thread.  Just wondering if there's any easy fix out there before I reach out to support.

    After a restart, it seems that things are working properly for now...  I'll leave this up in case anyone else has the same issue.

    I've been experiencing this for months (at least 1-2 before the default view/everything is too bright update), where it would double-tab either intermittently on specific fields, or constantly.  Since that update it's been much more frequent and doesn't just fix itself.  Logging out and back in seems to fix it for some reason, if only temporarily.  I did have an incident earlier this week where I was tabbing around like this and RE just up and crashed on me as I was closing a window.

    Many of us have been having this problem for months after using ImportOmatic. After I run ImportOmatic, I have to restart RE and then it stops double tabbing. Very annoying, but that is the only time I have the problem. At least now I know when it is going to happen!

    I have also noticed another annoying issue - when you sort the gifts on the Gift tab by date, it used to stay that way.  Now you have to sort the gifts every time you open the gift tab because it's not retaining the last sort.  It used to.

    This is probably one of the most annoying glitches I have ever experienced in RE, not the worst glitch but super annoying. You have to hit the right server after you log in and out of it, at least that seemed to be Supports suggestion. Good times!

    Jennifer, I hadn't noticed it with ImportOmatic.  I've run only a few imports with IOM in the last couple months and have definitely experienced this on days and weeks where I haven't run it (or anything more complex than a simple query).

    This is the most frustrating thing to me from the last update. Even when you arrow from one constituent to the next in a gift query you have to resort EVERY TIME! In fact, that is the case wherever there are dates. Every time I go to batch I have to resort by date created or modified. Grrrrrr.

    Patti, have you tried putting the date column as the first leading column on the screen?  This doesn't work for me in the batch panel (there it insists to sort by batch number regardless of which column is the first), but it does help alleviate the problem on gifts, queries, reports, exports etc.  I know we are used to having a certain order of columns that helps our work (hey, there is a reason why we arranged them in a particular order in the first place ☺) but this workaround at least seems to solve the need to constantly resort when moving just from one record to another or from query panel to export and back.
