We just received notification that a copy of our BBNC backup was part of the recent data breach

I am trying to figure out what all data is backed up from NetCommunity. The data for the directory is pulled in from RE, so not sure if anything gets backed up with BBNC. Also, what about gifts that come in from our online giving forms? Is that individual gift data captured somewhere and backed up? Thanks for your help!

    I will keep trying. The wait was over 2 hours on the phone yesterday and I was disconnected. I was hoping someone else had been successful in getting the answers.

    I spent ages on the telephone too, in the end I called the our normal support number and had a good discussion about it.

    It depends what data you collect, so for BBNC no credit/debit card, account numbers or passwords were lost, all encrypted data is fine.

    So that leaves whatever you collect and is added to your database, so for us it would be name, address, email, phone numbers, gift date and amounts, relationships, basically everything you would normally use for a constituent.


    So its up to you if you want to contact those people who may have been affected, the response toolkit they have emailed us about is attached.
