Notification of existing pledge

When gifts are received into RE through NetC is there a way to know if the individual currently has an open pledge on their record?

I'm looking for something along the lines of a business rule pop up when one goes to enter a gift that says the person has a pledge, do you want to apply it to the pledge. We've had several instances where person had a pledge but accidentally or intentionally chose a different fund in the online payment process. This has left their existing pledge with a balance and repeat reminders being sent.

Is there a setting somewhere or tip on how you ID these people?

I'll mark this as answered. Due to lack of replies, I finally posed question to chat support. Not possible at this point. I did post in NetC idea bank.

Per support - we discussed the check boxes on the batch committal screen or:

"The only way I can think of to address this would be after they are committed

You can create a query of the constituents added in the batch and also add in a query filter for Pledge balance is greater than 0.00

then youd have to access those and apply the gifts manually to the pledges"
