Collecting RSVPs with RENXT email

Hi Elizabeth,


The RSVP function is not built into the email function, but rather it is built into the online registration form function of NXT (or OLX.)  Here's a common workflow if you're using NXT Events:


1) Create event record

2) Create event registration form

3) Add participants to your event record (individually or in bulk from a saved list) and mark them as invited

4) From the participant list, filter to those participants with an invitation status as Invited and Save to Constituent List

5) From NXT email, create and send your invitation to the list that was saved. Include a link to your registration form. 

Note: You can also reorder 4-6  above and create the list of invitees first in Lists, then send your Email, then add them to your Event and mark them as Invited


Anyone who registers through the online registration will be given an RSVP status of "Attending" in webview (this is the equivalent of Registration=Registered in database view.)


We do not currently support capturing declines in either OLX or the NXT event registration form today.
