Hi,

Does anyone have any fundraiser etiquette documentation that are willing to share?

We want to draft a data sharing etiquette to ensure that everyone understands the rules and oblige by it.

Not sure if it's just the word 'etiquette' that is confusing me. Are you talking about database privacy policies? Or something else?

Hi Joann,

Thanks for responding to my post.

I'm not exactly referring to privacy policies. I'm more referring to common courtesy between fundraisers when it comes to data sharing, such as don't approach a donor without informing the existing primary solicitor, and such.

Great question! We aren't big enough for that, but we do have a Data Usage Policy to help our reunion volunteers know proper use of any data, such as emails. If that would be helpful, let me know.
