Altru timed ticketing

We have implemented timed ticketing in ALTRU and request that patrons purchase in advance. We limit the amount of tickets to be sold every 15 minutes. Sometimes we need to sell tickets at POS. However, even if there are available tickets, the system states that tickets are no longer available at POS. However, we can purchase tickets on another computer. Can anyone suggest a fix to this situation?

  • Make sure you have the program set to be available in Daily Sales, it may be set for online only
  • I would double check your on sale time frames for Daily Sales (vs Advance Sales & Online Sales). This shouldn't impact why it's working on one computer and not another, but it could explain the issue if you're also switching methods when switching computers.
  • Thanks for the advice. I increased the timeframe on site sales could be made after the start of the time period, but that doesn't seem to make a difference. I'm wondering if it has to do with the different levels of the users.
  • Hmm, I wouldn't expect different user permissions (like Ticket Seller vs Guest Services Manager) to allow for different on sale times since there are no permissions from the on sale times set up, but possibly? Have you confirmed that the two computers have matching times? Like, there isn't one that's set to a different time zone by chance?
