Card Reader Hardware

We are going through the final stages of selecting our hardware for switching from our current POS system to Altru. Have any of you been able to use both a stand-alone card swipe reader with one of the Cherry keyboards (or another kind) that also has a magnetic strip. We're trying to plan for the future as much as possible while reducing the need for staff to handle other people's credit cards at the moment.


Essentially, does it work to have two card readers hooked up to one machine, or does that cause problems?
