Japan Prefecture Abbreviations

Hello!


We have been having a bit of trouble with membership purchases for people from Japan. Normally we would be able to remedy this by putting the correct state/province abbreviations in pull down section of registration forms. The problem is that we are having difficulty finding information of the proper abbreviations for Japanese provinces. If we are unable to put the proper abbreviations in our form, the potential member will not be able to have his/her credit card pass the AVS check.


Does anyone have the information, or know where we can look for the proper abbreviations for the Japanese provinces?
