Custom Rating Filter in NXT Work Center

Does anyone know why there isn't a "greater than or equal to" option, etc. in the category value drop-down menu when you are using the custom rating filter in the Work Center portfolio?

The only options are:
  • equal to
  • contains
  • does not contain
  • starts with
  • does not start with
Is there an idea I can support to add to these selection options? Thanks!

    I'm sure that option is not there because the options are the same regardless of the type of field it is, whether it be a numeric or a text field. Assuming the value you are trying to filter is an ordered list, you would have to have some way to define the order of the list. I don't think that capacity is available.

    To piggy back on Dariel, the category data type is always text, regardless of whether it's a number stored as text or just regular alphabetical text. So you as far as the database is concerned, it's not possible to have a greater/lesser than filters.

Categories
