Entering - Core candidates or prospect students into RE

We are maintaining candidates/ prospect students in Core. Mostly these are siblings of current students. So they don't have a proper persona to integrate into RE. In that case, are you entering these records manually in RE or do you wait for candidates to become current students? How do you manage the consistency of the DB?

Please let me know your thoughts.

    When I was in a school setting, we didn't enter candidates into RE until they became students. However, assuming you have parents in RE as well, you could put the sibling on as a non-constituent relationship to the parent and/or the current student.

    I second what @Katherine Mannion said. Candidates are not entered into RE unless they become a student.

    Thank you Katherin and Tina :) I am with you. Do you think is there any specific value to create a RE - ‘relationship record’ for the candidate? As we have fewer resources to manage all the things, I want to make sure of, I am considering all the factors before making the decision.

    If you are using Connect, unfortunately prospective families come over during the Connect proces.
