Consecutive Giving Report

I was wondering if anybody has found a work around for the Consecutive Giving Report. It appears that the Consecutive Giving Report runs off of the calendar year rather than the fiscal year. Support has said that people will not be consecutive if they have given a gift more than 12 months apart, however if they have given in the consecutive fiscal years, it does not count. Example: donor gave in December 2005 and did not give again until February 2007 - technically gave consecutive fiscal years (2005-2006 and 2006-2007). Does anybody have any advice or a work around? Thank you!

The Consecutive Years Report in database view? You choose the dates to use for that and it works the way it's supposed to. I'm not sure what you mean by a work around?

It's incorrectly showing people for me because of the gifts greater than 12 months instead of using the fiscal year

@Kassie Perkins I just came out here looking for the same information you were requesting last October. I ran this report last week and discovered exactly what you are saying: it runs off a calendar year but I want to see consecutive fiscal years. Perhaps this question will see some additional eyes now and we could both get some additional input! ?

@Miki Martin what I ended up doing was making an export and did Summary of Gifts for each year - it was really manual but it was a good workaround because I could put in the dates of the fiscal year for each one and then when I exported, I used Excel/Google Sheets to help count up consecutive years that way

@Kassie Perkins I hate that there isn't a better solution for this. Thanks for your workaround! We'll see how that works.
