I chatted with support as I was trying to sort the profile changes on a user's record in Core by the date column. It is now ordered by type of field (business - home address) instead of date. When we're looking at changes we oftentimes want to see the history of what happened by date or the user who made the change.

Blackbaud support said it is ordered by type of fields (business - home address) instead of date "because it is easier to check the changes in the specific areas." Each organization has its workflow, so Blackbaud deciding what is "easier" shouldn't be part of the equation. Here is the idea bank link if anyone else is interested.

  • That's so odd - I wonder why this wouldn't function like other SKY lists. In the meantime I found that it is possible to filter on the date of the change, so (although cumbersome) you could view day-by-day changes by using that filter.
