Households feature and Connect RE
in Core
I don't see anything in the documentation about how/whether marking addresses as households will flow into RE. I don't want to upset the applecart in the development office. Does anyone know whether this will show up at all on the RE side?

We do not have plans to automate any connection via Connect RE for households. It won't upset the apple cart in Raiser's Edge.
