Why I no longer can change Invoice name after paying it? I was able to do it last week and now I cannot.

    I'm having the same problem. We should not have to repost an invoice just to correct an invoice number field.

    Correct.

    I am often issuing payments without invoices; therefore, no invoice numbers. It works for me to leave the field blank and once I issue a check I enter that number as Invoice number. I could use name or date, but the actual payment/check number works best for me, and now I have to change the process again.
