Workflow for specific gifts?

I would like to set up a workflow that schedules a task 3 months after a donor who is assigned to a specific fundraiser makes a gift. Does that make sense? This would trigger the fundraiser/solicitor to do some sort of donor outreach 3 months after their gift is made. Any help would be appreciated in terms of setting up the workflow and determining if this is pulling from a list or we are selecting criteria. Thanks!

Hi Stacy,

This is not the best answer, but I also try to schedule out a quarterly touchpoint with donors. I haven't found the best workflow yet, but essentially I created a workflow that is triggered by a gift by a donor that is assigned to me. Then I have a open Action (that is a task) of going in to assess next steps. I mark that complete and, while there, I create a new action for 3 months ahead, based on what I know of the donor, what is happening in the calendar, etc. and sync it to my Outlook, so the task is on my calendar and as an open Action in NXT.

Three months later when I complete that Action, I immediately make a new one for 3 months out.

Hi Corey, Can you explain exactly how you are able to get the workflow you initially create to be segmented to only donors assigned to you?
