Windows 11 compatibility

I work for an MSP with clients that run a variety of Blackbaud products. What is the state of compatibility with Windows 11 for your current products? Any know issues or problems?

  • Most people are delaying it. I did some research about it a couple of months ago and there were some complaints I can't remember what exactly they were but it was enough for me to delay getting it. That was a couple of months ago though. Perhaps, it might be better. If I can find the information I will post it.

  • Thank you for the information. Let me know if you hear of anything.

  • Hey Bob! Here you are. For what's it worth, I agree with the article. Let me know your thoughts.

  • As the article says to wait till second half of 2022, which is only a few days away, so we were wondering how blackbaud compatibility was coming along.

  • Right under the title it says wait until late 2022. Late 2022 in my opinion is December. I like how RE works with windows 10. You know when new programs come out they have to work out the glitches. Are you required to get windows 11 now? Or, are you just trying to be proactive?

  • I've been on Win 11 since the first chance I had for its general release, and I've had no issues with it or with it and RE NXT. I don't like that the Win 11 task bar doesn't allow for the ungrouping of same-application windows, but I found a cheap utility for that. Otherwise I've been a happy Win 11 user and again, no issues at all with RE NXT, web view or db view (at least related to Win 11 – of course there have been other performance issues with RE NXT).
