We have the planned giving module and have a planned gift in the system for our donor already, however this donor recently adjusted the planned gift to make it more than the original. I am, however, not seeing a way to adjust a planned gift within in RE. Does anyone know if this is possible? If it's not possible what is the next best option? This particular gift was originally gifted this FY so technically I'm thinking I can just create a new gift for the full amount with notes for an “audit trail.” But I don't know that that seems like a great option. Especially if this happens to us again, with a gift that wasn't given originally in the same FY.

    Depending on the adjustment that needs to be made I will either delete the original planned gift and re-enter or I add an additional planned gift if it is a new edition. I have also started marking the planned gifts as do not post. I wish that they could be adjusted and I think this is on the idea page for people to vote on.
