Bulk Creating Gift Appeal Records

Hi Everyone - in preparation for our new FY, we have many new gift appeals that need to be created. In the past we've manually created them one by one but I'm wondering if anyone has had success in bulk creating them through an import process in RE (or Import Omatic)? Thanks for your guidance!

    Hi @Jenn Lancaster - Welcome to BB Community! You can add new appeals to the system through Import - so I presume you can do it through ImportOmatic as well. Either way, here is a link to the RE Import Guide - you'll want to take a look at Import Tables > Appeal Imports > Appeal Fields.

    I think importing new appeals (as well as campaign records) is a great “starter” import.

    Save a static query of the imported records, in case there is anything you forget to put in your import file. That will make it easy to globally delete them and re-import after you've fixed the file.
