Frequent Outages

Hi all! Thanks for connecting! I am a fairly new Blackbaud user and am hoping to gain some insight on others' experiences with FENXT. Just curious to know if anyone else is experiencing frequent outages lately?

  • We do have outages but what I have found is that even if webview goes down, as long as you have database view open you are still able to do pretty much everything there too. I also always check the status page when there is an outage for updates.

  • @Holli Lindsey Hello. We do experience outages occasionally. Today we are experiencing issue with Database view, so many of the tasks we do that rely on Database view are stalled. I also would recommend, if your group has issues with Webview - we have found clearing cache weekly has helped a lot.

    Major outage today. Webview and database view are down. No indication when service will be restored.

    We are dealing with the same. Its a major outage for sure. I keep refreshing and occasionally I am able to do some tasks intermittently. Majority of my work is in database view so once I was able to get into it I haven't had any issues.

  • It's getting harder and harder to stand by this accounting software..

  • @Shannon Simmons Agreed, I am having a difficult time justifying the expense to our Executive Director over the past few months. I really don't want to go through the pain of another transition but we also can't continue losing so much productivity with all these outages.

  • @Holli Lindsey - Yes. We have had more outages in the last 6 months than we had the 4 years prior.
