GL Distribution/Gift Entry

Hello. We have two bank accounts that are used to deposit gifts. Credit card donations and EFT income posts to our checking account. Actual cash and checks post to the money market.

Our issue is we have to go to the GL DIstribution for each fund when the deposits are to a different bank account.

For example: I received a credit card donation to the unrestricted account today and had to change the GL Distribution to the correct bank account and appeal to make sure the funds were showing as going to the checking account for annual campaign.

I then had to go back and change the GL Distribution before posting a second receipt that was deposited to the money market account for annual campaign.

Since this information is captured when the gift is received why does Blackbaud not allow the deposit to go to the account recorded on the gift receipt?
