Luminate Online and RE NXT transition

Hey there! Our Foundation is looking at moving to RE NXT in the near future. We currently use RE7 and LO for our online donations/team raisers. I'm just wrapping my head around how this transition will work but I'm not seeing anything on how LO integrates with RE NXT - does anything change? Are there features that don't work or new features that do? Does anyone have recent experience transitioning to RE NXT and was/is using LO?

    We use RENxt with LO. To integrate we used Import-O-Matics connector. It works great importing gifts in but does not do that well bringing data into LO from RE. Right now we are manually updating LO whenever we want to send an email to certain segments. LO aside, there are some differences in Web View vs Database View mostly in that they arbitrarily decided to change the names of things (ie Attributes are Custom Fields) and one thing that we had to find a work around on is that any attachments you add to a record in web view do not show up in database view.

    @Kim Leblanc Thank you! As I'm researching I'm finding these little things out. I was just worried that something changes in RELO plug in when we migrate to NXT. I can't seem to find a clear idea of how or if it changes! Probably will figure this out as I go but I wanted to find some first-hand accounts. Thank you for sharing your experience!

    Hi Erika,

    We have Luminate and also added NXT. There is no change in the RELO it is all still done in database view. You will not lose any functionality by adding NXT. You will still have the database view (RE) and the RELO and your process will NOT change.
