SKY API Donations vs OLX Donations processing differences

Hi,

When moving away from using OLX as a means to accept donations towards an external set of forms (using the SKY API payments, bbCheckout and gift batches), is there any way to achieve the same level of flexibility available in database view “batches” but with web view batches?

Having discussed the change in workflow with a user responsible for processing donations it seems that the their work would get extremely bloated using web batches compared to using OLX and database view batches.

The Database view Batches screen is being used to make bulk updates to gifts before the batch is committed. This same level of editability doesn't seem to be available with web view batches. Once the web view batch is approved you can't edit it in database view. Instead of being able to bulk edit rows of gifts the user has to go into each gift (wait for the screens to load) and make their changes before updating.

Thanks.

@Neil Marshall - The changes to gifts do not necessarily need to be within the Web View batch, you could always edit the gift records en masse after they are committed to the database - either through a Global Change or Import.
