Separate Budget Year and Fiscal Year

Hi All - Our org is considering separating our budget year from our fiscal year. We need to keep our fiscal year on the calendar year, but want to shift our budget year to July-June. Is it possible to setup my budget in FE to run on a different FY?

    Technically you could. You'd have to use the Period Range Budget. Though you'll have to remember if you do this, when setting up budget columns on Financial Statements, period dates still refer to your fiscal year setup if you pick period 1 / 2. So you'll likely want to use a specific range to make sure you pick the correct dates etc. . Definitely makes running reports more detail oriented when setting up the reports so you're not getting incorrect data based on the dates not being correct etc.
