Annual Statements/Receipts

It's that time of year again - annual statement/receipt time! ? We are in the beginning stages of updating our process and wanted to see what other folks are doing. We currently use RE and a 10+ year old Crystal Report for our annual receipts each year. Is anyone using something amazing that they love and would like to recommend? Or something that you absolutely do NOT recommend?

    @Jessica Cantrell I'm a big fan of “if it ain't broke…” That said, I do believe that there are better ways to incrementally do this better. I summarized my thoughts in this post.

    Hopefully you are not mailing all of them through the mail, and using electronic delivery is worth considering. @Faith Murray's organization uses them as an impact statement which is such a smart idea.

  • @Jessica Cantrell, our president and I had to figure this out on our own. We wanted the end result to look like what we've been doing all along. That said, I have listed in attributes if someone requests this via mail, email, with a couple of constituents requesting both.

    I have four queries based on this, two of them if they have received receipts throughout the year (those that did not get a cover letter,) I export these to excel, then pull the information into Word to print on company letterhead.
