Venmo Account Best Practices

We need to setup a Venmo account. I do not want the account on my personal phone. I believe the only alternative is for the org to setup a phone account to download Venmo. I'm wondering how other orgs deal with this issue?

    @Grace Hovey I had to set it up on my personal account as the only way Paypal/Venmo would allow us to have one is if they verify you are a real person. Not the most efficient way to handle things at all from an organization perspective! I also know that it will be a pain to transition it once I leave the organization.

    Hi Grace,

    We just set up a Venmo account too. Our Finance Direction did not want the account linked to her personal Venmo account either. She called Paypal (not Venmo) who walked her through creating a new personal account that is linked to her email, but NOT attached to her personal account. Calling Paypal is the way to go. Hope this helps.

    Ditto, our org account is not linked other than email. We added PayPal first and now Venmo. Payments come in same deposit.
