Refunding order to a different credit or debit card

I have a guest that I would like to provide a refund to but they have informed me that the card they used has been compromised and is not longer valid. Is there a way to enter the new card number and refunded the amount to the new card?

    If you are using BBMS, the answer is no. In this situation we would send them a check. In Altru we'd change the refund method to check and make a note of the check number and date mailed.

    @Debbie McKenzie Thank you that's what I thought I was just hoping maybe there was another way so the guest could get the refund via card.

    Cardholders should contact the card issuer to determine their procedure for refunds applied to cards no longer in use.

    • If a credit card is expired or cancelled but they have been issued a new card by the same financial institution, the refund will reach the new credit card account.
