Restore or update the ability to add Roles through Data Import!

A process that we relied upon in the past for isolating students (parents) to receive a specific form has been significantly disrupted by the removal of the ability to add roles to students through data import. Please vote on my idea to bring this functionality to Core again:

@Lauren Henderson Apologies if I am misunderstanding the post however, I believe I accomplished your goal by using the “Role Assignment” import

Contact Card-Import/ Refresh → Role Assignment → [View file layout help] → chooose the correct schema “Assign 'Other' role type by user_id”

I created a custom friend role with no tasks and assigned my new parents this role.
