For anyone interested, I have uploaded a few of my Policy and Procedures PDFs to Keep & Share if you'd like to view/download them as there have been multiple requests.
Note: I will continue to add new P&P there as I meet with others and type them up. ?

These are meant to be a guideline for you to create your own for your organization.

We are in the midst of transitioning two databases to RE NXT and I need to put together P&P Manual, but also I need information on some best practices and was told to include in P&P manual - any insight into some of that? For example a few of the things we have discussed are outlining what roles have what access, process for 3rd party events, how regularly schedule database cleanup will be managed.0 -
@Dawnielle Foussard, the Database Admin for your org can set security permissions for what people can access and how much control they have to change records (you set this when you add them.)
The president of my org was encouraged from the beginning to create policy and procedures. About a year into that not being done, I decided to do it because I am the one fixing errors people create by doing things incorrectly. Did you check the link above for various examples of what I've made? This is exactly the reason I share these files - to give others a visual idea. I didn't have this option when I started. I create them for worst case scenarios - people dropped into a position with no one to train them and be able to easily follow along.
As for database clean up, as admin, I do that as my job allows the time.
The only part I've played in 3rd party events is making various queries for our partner relations team - which at least one of those is saved in the P&P link I've shared. Anything past that and you'll need to inquire of others here. My job is data entry/queries/reports/admin. LOL
