Receipt Automation?

Hi, I know nothing about automation, but have seen lots of articles, links, etc to acknowledgement automation. My question is: Is there any successful automations for receipts? I don't want to waste time figuring out how to set up automations if I can't get it to work for receipts. Thanks!

    @Andrea Clark - Automation can be used for pretty much everything. The receipt fields are available in the RE NXT connectors for Power Automate. If this something you're interested in but don't want to learn how to do it yourself check out AutomateGenius (https://automategenius.com/).     @Austen Brown Hi! I am familiar with you from having attended Super User BBCon sessions over the years. At this time I have to learn how to do it myself because we don't have a budget for anything extra in the near future. But I will keep it in mind. I just was curious if it was even possible.     I have heard plenty of people doing receipting automation.

    If you want to learn and become one who can automate, I strongly suggest you attend the monthly power automate user group. We showcase what users do in automation and also help you if you got stuck somewhere.

    For example

    I added a tile to allow any staff of org to issue or reissue ereceipt on the gift page of re nxt

    I also added to the homepage in re nxt of finance staff a tile that allow 1 button ereceipts of all unreceipted

    I did not automate since our finance team want to be in control. But you can automate a daily or weekly ereceipt to go out to unrequited gift

    You can get started learning Power Automate through a free on-demand course that BB has developed as well as through BBU classes if you have a Learn Subscription.     I recommend you take a course and start experimenting with a gift notification flow. From there you can work up to acknowledgement/receipts that tends to be around the intermediate level depending on how complex you make it.     @Austen Brown Thank you SO much for all the links! I had ready through a lot of articles before posting here. Everything I had read always mentioned “acknowledgements” and so I wondered if receipting was even possible. I am signed up for Automation in a Day today, which sadly starts at the same time as the monthly users meeting. But I am going to learn as much as I can and start with the suggested gift notification and work my way up from there.
