Record email attributes in signup/ through workflow
Hi! Does anyone have experience with using email signup that allows individuals to select certain mailing lists they would like to be a part of? Our organization uses attributes to track if people are interested in research and/or support services for example, and ideally individuals could select this on sign up and it would be integrated in the signup form. If that is not a possibility, is there a way to “poll” respondents in an email workflow? Maybe you can add additional fields in the signup form but ours only has first name, last name and email- and I can't seem to find where to change it in config. Thanks for any help!

@Rachel Thompson One thing is that workflows in RE NXT are always based on gift amount. The only sign up I was familar with at on time was in RE Online Express. RE NXT does not have anything like that to my knowledge.

@Rachel Thompson I don't believe that you can customize the email sign ups in Online Express, but I might be mistaken on that.

@Rachel Thompson - Unfortunately you can't change the sign-up form from OLX. If you want to offer more options, you'll need to create one yourself. If you utilize Power Automate there is a potential that you can bring the data into RE from an online census form without much additional work from your team.

@Rachel Thompson We actually have a workaround for this. We have separate pages on our website where people can sign up for a newsletter. When you process the signup request in Online Express, it brings in an attribute on the constituent record showing the URL of the web page where they signed up. We can then delineate which newsletter they signed up for, and we apply our newsletter attribute to that constituent. It's a couple of extra clicks to process a signup, but it works!
