Altru Workstation on an iPad? OR other solution to mobile payment stations

Has anyone set up an Altru Workstation on an iPad?

I see posts from 2015 and before about mobile payment stations, but none show resolved. Has anyone successfully set up a station with the WISE E POS reader to sell merch or tickets? An iPad would be ideal, but a laptop is possible for us. I'd love to borrow steps from others.

    For various reasons, we use a third-party system for processing credit cards. But we use Altru online for ticket and merchandise sales. We frequently have off-site events where we bring a laptop and use that to sell tickets/merch. I wouldn't recommend an iPad.

    @Dianne Crosby. Thanks for the response. Can you tell me WHY you would not recommend an iPad? I'm thinking they are lighter and less cumbersome than a laptop.

    It's been a while since I've tested it. But my experience was the Altru pages didn't display the same way they do on a computer. On some pages, I wasn't able to scroll to or access parts of the page that I needed.
