    @Jaime Gallardo Did you enter the gift in a batch? Batch numbers are automatically entered on the gift as part of the gift batching process.

    @Jaime Gallardo - Echoing Dariel. You need to enter the gift through a batch in order for a batch number to be associated with it.

  • @Austen Brown Thanks. I figured that out. Appreciate your response.

  • @Dariel Dixon No, but I figured out after I created the gift. I guess I will go without the batch number and posted as a gift. Still it give me an ID number. Will this work?

    @Jaime Gallardo
    When you ask “will this work” what do you mean? Do you need the batch number/ID number for a specific purpose?

  • @Rachel Cavalier
    “Will this work” was referring to the ID number that is created by the software when I entered the gift. But thanks Rachel, I need to work with the batch in order to have that number. We are trying to get started with the web view so I think I'm in a crash course right now. But happy with the web view. Thanks for your comment.

  • @Jaime Gallardo What are you hoping to do with the ID number? All gifts have a Gift ID and a Gift Import ID. Those are different than the Batch Number (which only exists on gifts entered via Batch). Whether or not it will work depends upon what you want to do with the number.
