Attendance for the lower school....

@Richard Pan, our lower schools also do not schedule classes in Blackbaud. What we did is to create a single block called Homeroom in Academics > Scheduling > Schedule Outline > Blocks. Then, we created a schedule set for the entire lower school in Academics > Scheduling > Schedule Outline > Schedule Sets, where we have a single meeting time from 8:30 a.m. - 8:35 a.m. for Monday through Friday and assigned that meeting time to the Homeroom block. This can then be used in Attendance for teachers or office staff to record attendance. Since our lower school students spend a majority of the school day with the same homeroom teacher, attendance is only taken once for the day rather than each period like we do for our middle school and high school students.
