Online Transcript Request

I know it just rolled out, but does anyone know what is supposed to go in the “Recipient Title” form field of this new feature? And who sees the “Email Body”--parent or school the parent is sending the request to? BB chat is not helpful. Thanks!

    Hi @Emily Burress - the Recipient Tile it was appears in front of the word E-Mail when the parent goes to send the request.

    The e-mail body is what is sent to the school. The highlighted portion in my sample below. You can include the Recipient Title as a placeholder in the email. The last sentence is hard coded in the system.

    @Emily Burress I put “School” in the recipient field, you don't have to use that field in the email if you don't want in which case no one would ever see it. The email body is just seen by the recipient at the school. Like the online recommendations, the parent has the option to put their own comment to the school.

    I wish there was a way to have the online transcript request and the upload option for parents in the same step. That way if the parent has a copy of the grades they can do it themself and if they don't, they can request it from the school.

    I'll have to add extra steps that I'll have to waive if I use the online transcript request for the application process.

    @Bryan Lorenzo Thank you, that's helpful! I would love your thoughts on this….I am trying to get our instructions to translate as I type them into the form field, however, Blackbaud condenses it into paragraph form, rendering it too hard to read. We have tried many workarounds (copy/paste from word, screenshot) with no luck. Any ideas? :)

    @Emily Burress the block we used for this doesn't preserve line breaks, but we'll look into adding that since it looks like it would be helpful!
